Jacob and the Coronavirus

My first book, Jacob and the Coronavirus, is live on Amazon in paperback and Kindle e-book format.

Jacob and his dog Huck are afraid of all the hype about the coronavirus. Jacob’s fears are partially founded in not understanding what the coronavirus is. Huck provides comfort and humor as he mirrors Jacob’s emotions and actions. Jacob’s parents alleviate his fears by shining the gentle light of truth into the dark corners where the unknown lurks. His parents’ understanding, simple explanations and metaphors that a young child can understand help Jacob realize that sometimes, when you know more about something, it’s not as scary.

I hope this book and my subsequent children’s books will comfort all children, especially those who are as anxious as I was as a child.
